About Pioneers of Game Development Austria The Pioneers of Game Development Austria was founded on 21st November 2017 and focuses on presenting the Austrian game developers nationally and internationally. The association supports young entrepreneurs’ ability to compete, by increasing the innovative capacity of all Austrian developers and lobbying towards politics, social partners, media and economic representatives. The Pioneers are encouraging the local gaming culture as important socioeconomic factor and engine to create innovative jobs across Austria by cross-linking the scene across all districts and all provincial capitals.
