Johannes Gäbler made his way to Vienna in 2017 to embark on his studies in Media Informatics and Visual Computing at TU Vienna. His journey in the world of game development began as early as during his elementary school years when he started creating small games during his free time. The spark for a festival management game was ignited during a festival in 2017, driven by Johannes' deep passion for music and his fascination with the tycoon genre. This inspiration led him to start prototyping, ultimately resulting in the release of his first major game project in 2022, Festival Tycoon. In mid-2022, he transitioned into an exciting role at Microbird, where he works on Dungeons of Hinterberg, crafting systems, designing user interfaces, enhancing audio experiences, and much more.
