Clio Em (Clio Montrey) is a composer, writer, opera singer and multi-instrumentalist who weaves imaginary worlds out of words and sound. Her genre-defying works blur the borders between folk, classical, electronica, and science fiction. Clio is a graduate of McGill University, The University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and MUK. She has received numerous awards for her creative work. In addition to her solo projects, Clio sings at Theater an der Wien with the renowned Arnold Schoenberg Chor. Clio has performed her GRAVITY WING cycle around the world, including appearances at Comiccons Montréal and Ottawa (Canada), as well as 2High Festival (Australia). She has had her compositions performed on four continents and on the national radio stations of Canada, Austria, and Germany.
